Title: Recent Advances in Large Language Models for Healthcare

Abstract: We will explore, in this presentation, recent advances in large language models (LLMs) and their potential across various sectors, with a particular focus on their use in healthcare. We will highlight how these models, such as GPT, Bloom, and LLaMA, equipped with billions of parameters, possess remarkable capabilities in language understanding and generation that could transform medical practices.

We will also address current trends in the medical datasets used to train these models, classifying them based on criteria such as size, source, and subject. We will discuss how LLMs could improve patient care, accelerate medical research, and optimize the efficiency of healthcare systems, particularly in the context of assisted diagnosis.

Finally, we will emphasize the technical and ethical challenges that must be overcome before these technologies can be widely adopted in the medical field. This presentation aims to provoke thought on the capabilities and limitations of new generations of linguistic models in such a crucial context as healthcare
